Some good friends of ours are expecting a baby.....a little girl....any day now, literally! In honor of this stubborn baby girl who is several days past her due date now, I decided to make a classic, pink cocktail.....a Cosmopolitan! I was sadly unable to find any Cointrau in the house - so substituted with Triple Sec, which was fine! But it is awesome with Cointrau too! Cheers!
Cosmopolitan
Makes 1 drink
1 part Vodka
1/2 part Triple Sec (or Cointrau)
1/2 part cranberry juice
1/4 part fresh lime juice
In a shaker full of ice, combine all ingredients and shake like crazy! Strain into an ice cold martini glass....enjoy!
